In the presence of Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Habib, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the University of Zakho, and Dr. Sattar Haji, the Director of the Training and Development Center (TDC) at the University of Zakho, the examination of the methods of teaching course was held on Wednesday the 18th of November 2015, as a part of the assessment. This course was organized by TDC with the aim of improving the teaching ability lecturers at universities and higher education institutions. The course included 16 participating lecturers, and it lasted for 7 weeks. During this period, topics related to innovative teaching methods, lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, creative teaching strategies such as brainstorming, cooperative and collaborative learning, concept mapping, and mentoring were explored for the sake of enhancing students learning experience.
